Privacy Policy

Information you provide – When you subscribe to CSP Maintenance Services or begin an evaluation of CSP  Supplied Software or other CSP service we ask you for information (such as your name, email address and phone number. You may also be given an account password for your Customer Login).

Log information – When you use CSP GUI or Host Logs, troubleshooting software or support services, our software may collect configuration information from either or both your PC or Host. This collected data may include information such as your IP address, NonStop user ids, CSP Product configuration files, NonStop system information, Expand and IP network configuration, Safecom configuration and audit information, TACLLOCL and TACLCSTM files, Pathway configuration, etc.

User communications – When you send an email or other communication to CSP, we may retain these communications in order to improve our services for you the client.  We value your feedback.
This Privacy Policy applies to all web sites, ftp sites, products and services that are owned and operated exclusively by CSP et al.  CSP only processes confidential information to insure that we are providing to our clients the products, support services and notifications expected by our end users.  Additionally, we may obtain this information for purposes of auditing, research and analysis in order to maintain, protect and improve our products and support services for our clients.  CSP will not collect or use confidential information for purposes other than those described in this Policy unless we have obtained express written consent from you and our clients.

This request can be declined, in which case it is possible that CSP may not be able to provide the software and/or support services needed by the end user through electronic channels. In this case alternative methods will be offered.

Information sharing

CSP only shares confidential information with other companies in the following limited circumstances:
• We have your consent.
• We have a good faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of such information is reasonably necessary to (a) satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request, (b) enforce applicable Terms of Service, including investigation of potential violations thereof, (c) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues, or (d) protect against imminent harm to the rights, property or safety of CSP as required or permitted by law.

Information security

We utilize extensive security measures in protecting against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of data. These include internal data collection reviews, storage and processing practices, security measures, and physical security measures to guard against unauthorized access to any information and/or data storage systems.

We restrict access to confidential information to CSP employees, contractors and agents who need to know this information in order to operate, develop, troubleshoot or improve our products and services. These individuals are bound by confidentiality obligations and may be subject to discipline, including termination and criminal prosecution, if they fail to meet these obligations.

Data integrity

In accordance with this Policy, CSP may process confidential information only for the purposes for which it was collected. We review our data collection, storage and processing practices to ensure that we only collect, store and process the information needed to provide or improve our products and support services.  We ensure that reasonable steps are taken to maintain confidentiality and that the information we process is accurate, complete, and current.  We do depend on your feedback to update or correct this information whenever necessary.

Enforcement

CSP regularly reviews its compliance with this Policy. Please feel free to contact us directly regarding any questions, concerns or comments regarding this Policy. Should we receive a formal written complaint, it is CSP’s policy to contact the customer directly to address their concerns. With regards to the transfer of confidential data, we at CSP are in complete compliance and will fully cooperate with the appropriate regulatory and local data protection authorities to resolve any and all complaints should they arise.
